Harshit is a multi-instrumentalist but chose drums as his primary instrument. His music is influenced by some genres like rock, metal, punk, Hip hop, blues, fusion and Modern Jazz. He loves to experiment and improvise with different kinds of music that he performs. In the early days of his music career, he performed at some famous Fests in New Delhi, like the Teapot festival and Deep Utsav, and school programs with his punk band "Black Age". Then later he learned and played Jazz and western contemporary styles of music as an accompanist for ensembles and daily weekly performances at Global Music Institute, New Delhi, India. 

 

After finishing his High school education, Harshit chose to make his career in music and completed his Professional Diploma in Contemporary music performance from Global Music Institute, one of the prestigious music schools in India. Currently, Harshit is doing his Undergrad at Berklee college of music with double major Contemporary writing and production / Drum and percussion performance and is also part of Berklee Jazz and gender justice institute. He aims to be a performer, composer, Instructor, and producer. He also aims to give young musicians a platform for learning and spreading awareness about how to make a career in the music industry in his home country India.
